Beautiful Blue Oceans

I found this review inspiring. The whole "innovation" and information movement/age we're in aligns wonderfully with such ideas. Connecting online in this world that gets flatter and flatter supports such integration of information and ideas. Taking away the costs that burden your organization, and focusing on the magic, ideas, and creativity that builds allure and growth is key. All too often the GE's and P&G's find it hard to make movement due to being bogged down by the infamous red tape we all have found ourselves tangled in at one time or another. Being different to find a fit sounds wonderful, but isn't as easy as merely saying those words.

Creating space, swimming in your own ocean, while others keep their head above water treading is the mental metaphor I conjured up while reading this. Give reason, newness, allure, and the demand will follow you rather than you chase the demand. To think one could reduce cost, harness and release an idea, combine efforts with what works, and be successful! Wow! Companies will go bonkers over this philosophy right?! Alas, the red ocean will stay stable, no waves, be secure, and successful, but no where near the greatness they could achieve if they only changed their processes. Convert buyers by converting your organizational approaches. Make and create space rather than be empty or worn space. Now, only to get some investors and capital for my newfound blueness! Like most great approaches, it will take some time for the red "tape" organizations to truly believe in the flowing blue oceans.
