Place Branding vs. Bland Car Commercial

I usually cringe at car commercials due to their bland redundancies, but this one still remains one of my favorites.

It earned that right due to it surpassing the traditional illumination of a car driving through physical obstacles, and integrated the 'motor city story', hometown popular music, rough/rugged personality, with style.

The shorter version that continues to air also plucks the heart string, sharing that 'place branding', America, our story, perseverance, toughness, and charisma can be found beyond four wheels.
