Coffee with a Cause!
"Coffee With A Cause!": While visiting Costa Rica, and meeting with coffee bean growers and doing research, I met a passionately driven and tremendous spirit, Billy Chrzan. After speaking several times, and helping him with his business plan, we felt it mutually beneficial to partner in order to generate awareness for community driven initiatives, as well as formulating a creative way to fund raise for our non-profits.
After our in person meeting while Billy was traveling from MI to the Honduras, we felt our mission and values were in alignment. We agreed to partner to help local residents improve their standard of living, job opportunities, and lives with our efforts. To fuel this 'campaign', we distribute coffee to fund these efforts.
Every time you purchase our coffee beans, you make positive impact to not only our non--profits, but the lives of the Hondurans, their school, families, health, food, and standard of living. Currently I am working on efforts to expand not only the awareness of our efforts, but to improve the brand of this coffee. I feel it has great potential, and could earn some real retail shelf space if we amplify the packaging and improve the manufacturing & supply chain. I have spoken with and met with several designers, marketing consultants, and consumer researchers. They all feel this has great potential. I hope to improve this project, and improve the brand equity & capacity this "coffee with a cause" effort.
